{"id":259,"date":"2010-03-30T13:07:02","date_gmt":"2010-03-30T18:07:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jessicaleader.com\/blog\/?p=259"},"modified":"2010-03-30T14:23:00","modified_gmt":"2010-03-30T19:23:00","slug":"what-the-internets-can-do-for-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/jessicaleader.com\/blog\/2010\/03\/what-the-internets-can-do-for-you\/","title":{"rendered":"What the Internets Can Do For You"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Making Connections\" src=\"http:\/\/mtant.wikispaces.com\/file\/view\/MathsMeet2009MakingConnections.jpg\/74027847\/MathsMeet2009MakingConnections.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"222\" height=\"287\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As my mom will undoubtedly tell you, I&#8217;m a pretty much a Luddite.\u00a0 I was the last of my friends to get a cell phone, which happened sometime in 2001.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t have a Blackberry,\u00a0iPhone, or Tivo, and I still listen to tapes in the car.\u00a0 In spite of this aversion to Things New, I am really appreciating the internets lately.\u00a0 \u00a0What have they done, you ask?\u00a0 I&#8217;ll tell you.<\/p>\n<p>1) I raised $78 for my local library, thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/writerjenn.livejournal.com\/162835.html\">Jennifer Hubbard&#8217;s Library-Lovin&#8217;
